Richard Electric has kept Cullman heated, cooled and wired since 1949

A third-generation family company out on AL Hwy 157. Carrier dealer since 1978, certified Generac installer, licensed in Alabama for HVAC, refrigeration and electrical work. Same-day appointments, and emergency calls are answered.

Look for the Carrier sign and the Richard trucks on Highway 157.

The company moved out of downtown Cullman to 4138 AL Hwy 157 in 1986. The trucks leave from here every morning, the parts room is stocked here, and the ductwork for the day's jobs is cut and formed in the full-metal fabrication shop out back.

Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 4:30. Emergency service calls are taken outside those hours.

What Cullman says once the truck has gone

After two decades our house needed a new heat pump. Everyone that we worked with at Richard Electric were professional, on time, and did a great job! We are extremely happy with the heat pump that they installed, the work that they did, and our choice to use Richard Electric.

Absolutely outstanding service from Richard Electric! … they had a technician at my house within an hour of my morning call. That level of responsiveness is rare these days.

Matt and Zane clearly knew what they were doing. They arrived on time, got straight to work, and resolved the issue very quickly.
